Tabling in the Community
We are seeking volunteers to assist with community tabling events. Responsibilities may include setting up and staffing information tables, greeting community members, sharing organizational materials, answering questions, promoting programs and events, and signing up new members or volunteers. Friendly communication, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills are preferred.
Observer Corps
​We are seeking volunteers to join the Observer Corps as trained reporters who attend local government meetings, observe community decision-making, and submit reports on proceedings. Volunteers may cover city councils, county commissions, library boards, and other public meetings in the Greater Grand Forks area. Strong observation, writing, organization, and civic engagement skills are preferred.
Event Planning
We are seeking a volunteer with experience in event planning and coordination. Responsibilities may include greeting guests, registering attendees, signing up new members, coordinating schedules and logistics, assisting with setup and cleanup, and supporting event-day activities. Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills are preferred.
Behind the Scenes
We are seeking a volunteer with experience in website management, social media, press releases, and communications. Responsibilities may include updating website content, creating and scheduling social media posts, drafting announcements and press releases, preparing newsletters, and helping promote organizational news, events, and achievements. Strong writing, editing, organization, and digital communication skills are preferred.
