This website is owned by the League of Women Voters of North Dakota (LWVND) and operated by LWVND and its affiliated local Leagues. This Privacy Policy applies to all pages on this website, including those used by local Leagues.

What information does the LWVND website collect from website visitors and how is this information used?

When you visit the League of Women Voters of North Dakota website, your browser automatically sends us an Internet Protocol (“IP”) address and certain other information (including the type of browser you use). We may use this IP address and other information to manage our website.

We may ask you to provide additional contact information, which may include your name, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and email address, depending upon which of the following you wish to do:

  • Volunteer with LWVND or a local League

LWVND and its affiliated local Leagues will never rent, sell, or trade your email address or phone number with any third party.

Members and supporters (such as donors, volunteers, event participants, and email recipients) may also receive additional communications from the LWVND and its affiliated local Leagues, such as occasional news and alerts about the issues on which we work.

 

Occasionally, LWVND or a local League may engage with partners on advocacy actions that exchange contact information across organizations. These actions are identified as such in related communications. Participants take part knowing their names may be shared.

Membership sign-up and renewal are handled through the national League of Women Voters website and are subject to the national LWV privacy policy.

Some portions of this website are hosted or supported by vendors providing services to LWVND and its affiliated local Leagues, such as website hosting, email communications, and online donations. These vendors include Wix, Mailchimp, and PayPal, and they maintain their own privacy policies.

Online donations made through this website are processed by PayPal. Payment information is handled directly by PayPal and is subject to PayPal’s privacy practices.
