ROB FULLER
What is your vision for the City of Minot?
Rob Fuller: Minot deserves a government that works as hard as its people do. My vision is a city that grows with purpose, builds with foresight, and leads with accountability, not just reaction. That means listening - not just nodding at public meetings. That means acting - not just studying things to death. And that means pushing for accountability at every level. I’ll implement that vision the way I’ve always led: directly, transparently, and without playing favorites.

MARK JANTZER
What is your vision for the City of Minot?
Mark Jantzer: My vision is for Minot to be a well-run City with a vibrant economy and quality of life. I will work to collaborate with our durable partners like Minot State University, Minot Park District, Minot Chamber EDC, Visit Minot, Trinity Health, Minot Public Schools, Ward County and others to continue the positive business and leisure opportunities we have. Recognizing that Minot is a regional hub, we need to find ways to attract business activity and outside dollars. As current chair of the new Municipal Planning Organization Board, I will work with the other members to utilize the federal dollars for the betterment of Minot and partner organizations. We need to support as we can the many organizations that help the needy, homeless, or addicted. Internally, I will push for increased use of data-driven decisions using the recently upgraded ERP system and subsystem applications in which we have already invested.

PAUL PITNER
What is your vision for the City of Minot?
Paul Pitner: Minot is full of potential. We need to lean into what makes our community special and keep building on the momentum we have through smart investments in our economic programs I’ve touched on and strong community partnerships.
I want to work to create a city that’s safe, welcoming, and open where no matter your background you feel like you can build a future here. That starts with leading with integrity, doing what’s right and what’s best for the community. It means being intentional with every decision we make.

Flood control and NAWS are two of the largest infrastructure projects in North Dakota, and we’ve committed to funding them locally through sales tax dollars. These are generational investments, projects our children and grandchildren will benefit from.

But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: “We can build all the flood walls in the world, but if we’re not also investing in the people and the city behind them, then what are we really doing it for?”
